Merci

Hello
I created a Vray material that is partly opaque at the bottom and transparent at the top using a gradient in the opacity channel
The transition between opaque and transparent is therefore a gradient.
It is impossible to render this material in Vantage, it becomes totally opaque, gradient transparency is not supported

I am attaching previews of Vray and Vantage

Is there a solution?
Thanks

Vantage currently supports only “clip” opacity, where the material is either fully opaque or fully transparent. The workaround that has been discussed already several times on the forum is to use material refraction instead of opacity, with IOR=1.0.
