yeah that has been posted a few times

How about this one?

New Extensions - Exclusively for Autodesk Subscription Members
Connection Extension for Autodesk 3ds Max 2010*
Connection Extension for Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2010**

Just got the e-mail :stuck_out_tongue:

Any chance the OpenEXR update in 3dsmax Connection Extenstion will allow us to get a Vray update allowing multichannel EXR output through the 3dsmax output?

off the area it lists it as…
Store render elements and G-buffer channels to EXR layers, enabling the transport of layered HDR data for relighting rendered 3D scenes without going back to the 3D application.

is that the missing piece we’ve been needing?

From what I understand, this should be automatically supported for any renderer without us doing anything special, although I have not tried it yet for V-Ray.

Best regards,
Vlado

…cool

Do you know if that extension is available yet? It’s not showing up on my list of available d-loads through my subscription.
