max 2018 green ball when zooming

I’m using max 2018 for a specific project and every time I zoom with alt + RMB there’s this annoying green ball that appears in the viewport… Any way to get rid of that? Everything I googled returned nothing but “get used to it”

I guess you have “orbit around point of interest” activated. Just change it to something else.

unfortunately it’s there on any orbit mode…
