Max freeze during Interactive Render when autosave occurs

when I try to run Interactive Render on big max files (2gb) and when autosave occurs - 3ds max may freeze for 10-20 minutes.
not able to cancel both IR and Autosave

Max 2020 and the latest Corona 4 build

Same here (3ds max 2019.3) I suspect the curve window of corona vfb

Are you able to provide me with a scene/minidump please? Instructions on how to do this are in my signiture.

Secondly, are you experiancing this with the 3ds Max autosave or the Corona autosave?

problem with 3dsmax autosave (corona autosave is disabled)
no matter CPU is 100% loaded with the corona or 12,5% (only one thread) with the autosave - both cases cause freeze of render animation face and not possible to cancel autosave or IR

will provide minidump later

I get this too - but the file doesn’t need to be that big - working on a 75mb file it’s just frozen…

If 3ds max autosaves whilst using interactive rendering, it crashes…

this has happened numerous times for me.

max 2019, corona 3…

If Max is crashing/freezing can you please generate a minidump? Instructions on how to do this are in my signiture.

So far I have been unable to reproduce this issue. Are you also able to provide me with the scene that you are experiencing the crash with, and provide me with your system specification?

Now I’m experiencing the same issue. On a larger scene (1,5GB), when Max 2022 autosaves during IR (Corona 7), everything freezes and I have to forcefully shut down the program and restart Max.
Any updates on the topic since 2019?
