Hey guys,
Sorry, this is more a Max general question than a Vray specific related question, but I know it will be hard to have a answer on any official forum, so I’m trying here ![]()
When we view a bitmap in max, nitrous is down-scales this bitmap to a certain pixel ress to optimize the viewport, we can bypass that by going into the bitmap proxy and activate to have full ress bitmaps in the viewport.
BUT,
When we pipe that bitmap into a color correct/mix/composite/etc max downscale that resulting computed bitmap to a low ress.
Is there any way to ask max to view it in high ress? even if it takes times and resources? I really would like to be able to tweak all that in the viewport without having to render everytime.
Side question : is there any way with the vector maps in 2014 to have a high ress preview in the viewport? I have a massive *.ai file that needs to be aligned and I just see big blocks, I need to render as well to be able to place it (even without any additional node between the vector map and the material).
Thanks
Stan
