I’ve got the max subscription, but as I’m overseas, the only way I could get the upgrade installed is to download it.
I seem to remember that you could download a trial version of max before, then register it to unlock it. Is this the case? Or am I stuck till I get back home.
I live in Poland, and that’s also overseas 
Still l received my boxed copy of max2k8 about 2 weeks ago.
So be patient my friend 
aha.. but I am of no fixed abode… travelling around. Maybe there´s nothing in the upgrade for me to get excited about anyway..

Well since all max installations work as a trial version until you activate them, there should be no problem with downloading 2008 trial and using Your serial / activation data with it.
Didn’t try that though…
