max9 related error...

just wondering if anyone has run in to the error below and knows how to get around it. The error occurs when trying to install max9, at about 90% complete in the install which halts the install…

“Error 1402. Could not open key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.dwg\PersistantHandler. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or COntact you support personnel”

Try delete it (in case you don’t need it) or gain advanced access :wink:

Its my colluges puter and hes online with IT ATM but they havn’t been able to kill the bad reg entry :stuck_out_tongue: Im letting him and IT deal with it now as IMO could be his registry is corrupt or bad sector on the disk maby…
