I was just wondering.
Can I run Maya in trial mode - past the trial date in batch/cmd mode and render with vray (deadline maya batch job)? Or do I need Maya license for that ? I guess I should email AD for that -.- but b4 they reply its going to be a while.
You can render on VRay standalone without Maya licences.
Yes I know I can. And I dont really want to upload hundreds of vrscns to Amazon for that - already did it once and very hard to troubleshoot. I’d prever maya batch if it would work if no I have to see if i can get licenses of AD for job

Yes, you can’t start maya, but batch renders with vray work fine.
