# Mirror + Glass - Refraction Gloss not working properly

Honestly I’m confused by your description so consider me being a total idiot and this comes straight off top of my head - What is the proper way? Care to show an example? Any comparison done?

But yes, if it’s about a somewhat big difference with a small value, it is to be expected & IIRC, it’s explained somewhere in the forums… uhm…

If I change the mirror gloss to 0.99 or lower, the reflections are not working as expected. Just see. The blurry glass material becomes clear and the background visible.
