Mirror reflection

hello … sorry if my english is no good

i’ve a problem with mirror reflexion…

My objects are cut in the mirror reflection, as an attachment parameter of my mirror texture, rendering of the original scene and rendering of the scene with reflection errors

please can you help me …

please can you help to fix this error

thank you

Christian

Hi Christian,

I’m very sorry for you experiencing this issue, but unfortunately this is the state of art for a pure real-time rendering engine like Enscape.

You can improve the behavior by opening the Enscape Visual Settings, and on the first page, dial the “Rendering Quality” slider all the way to the right, to “Ultra”.

Apart from that, please be assured that we do our best to improve the behavior as good as possible, while still maintaining performance on an adequate level.

thank’s for your response …

i’m always working with the “Rendering Quality” slider to “Ultra” and it’s the first time that i have noticed this problem !!! is there any subtlety for this phenomenon !!!

I’m not certain if I understand your question?

sorry but my english is very bad !!! i must have expressed myself badly …

is there a possibility of reducing this problem of reflection with specific setting …

I’m afraid there is no workaround at this point, I’m sorry. We’re doing our best to improve reflections in Enscape as good as possible.

i suspected a little … but meanwhile congratulations for the work done on this excellent rendering engine …

i look forward to future improvements

In your case you could work around if you mirror the scene behind the mirror and you remove the mirror. So, “real” objects are seen and not reflections only.

:frowning: … unacceptably high “realtime” losses again
Anyway: Great work hushwd13

I’m not sure I understand you. Do you mean the workaround will cause a slow down by the calculation? I don’t know that render times are increased, but so far I have seen renderings are needed here only, so this should no problem.

Hi, I just wanted to express that it is a pity to see these mirroring flaws in a simple still image rendering, where realtime performance is so much less important than waiting a few render seconds longer for an at least usable result then  (but the Enscape people are already working on it which is good  )

I wish I had your patient and your optimism.

Hy Micha … thank for your solution it’s a good idea but’s it’s difficult because i have another room behind wich is fitted out

or elseit is necessary the first makea rendering of the piece and after i apply the texture on the mirror without reflexion !!!..

Another year has passed, but the reflection problem is still not solved X/
