I have a huge TIN of a 400 acres site that I need to model for an animation of the entire site - Does anyone know of a software that could drape that TIN and create a mesh useable for an animtion - Animation will be 25’-15’ high over site in some areas - Also I will be adding all the building for the site - Any ideas guys?

What exactly is a TIN file? Is it just a gray scale image?

Michael - If you have access to LDD, Land development desktop you can get contours out of it pretty quick. I used to get whole golf courses that way. pm me if you need some contours.
400 acres is pretty big but you can break it up into pieces with Xrefs. I’ve always struggled with big sites. Now I just do the area I need with countours and resolve them to flat as quickly as noticeable and do the rest of the site flat.
pm me if you need a hand getting some usefull information from the TIN. I have a friend that can generate contours at any increment you need.
