I tried to cheat and went IM+LC on the interiors, but the shadows are way too noisy. I’m doing the kitchen over. IM+LC was 2 hours and BF+LC was 4+ hours. I did notice that the kitchen had some extreme fireflies on the countertop, which is a SSS material. I am using an HDRI, which seems to be the source of a lot of my headache.
Beautiful job! A lot of your earlier stuff I didn’t like the style of architecture or very rich, mid brightness colours and finishes that your clients chose, purely as it mad the spaces quite dark. Lovely to see some more open plan, airy projects from you and the renders look great.

Thanks! The client hated it and wants more changes. He gets two revisions and has had five without being charged more. I just told him that I would be glad to make the changes, however, it is per hour. He is now happy with them :). I always have a hard time charging more than quoted, so I have to remind myself what happens when I ask for more sour cream at the local Mexican joint; I have to pay 30 cents.
The grass is ForestPack Pro with grass cut/pasted over in PS with the raw total lighting element over in multiple mode.
Just curious bobby, as you (apparently) churn these out at quite a rate; how do you deal with clients that don’t provide all the info you need up-front, or want to keep making changes each time you send them a batch of images?
That’s my biggest headache. Very few, if any, follow the rules. I just roll with it and I expect people to be late, get busy, and make changes. I let people go past their two agreed upon revisions until I feel that they are not respecting my time. Usually, when I agree to make changes per hour, the changes stop.
