Modify the revit model in enscape?

I told one of my colleagues about sculpturing in VR - gravity sketch, medium etc…

He than asked me “why not houses?”… (i guess there is not really any good programs for that yet?)

That makes me think - do you think it will possible to modify the 3d model inside Enscape in the future? like moving windows ect…

Thanks

Jorgensen

Hey @Jorgensen_dk , thank you for your question. We sometimes receive similar requests regarding the ability to make changes to the project via Enscape directly, but we generally like to keep the model in Enscape and its main software the same.

Further, we do have a request on our agenda to allow you to display and control your main software while in VR. So, changes to your project would still be done via your main software, not through Enscape directly, but you could keep the VR headset on during the process.

Let me know if this is also of interest and I’ll add a further upvote to the topic.

I thought of it as an intuitive way to modify the model - use vr as a design tool.

What you suggest seems like a 2d tool in a vr environment and might not be so intuitive, but might work.

Hey @Jorgensen_dk , I can understand that. In that case I’ve added a further upvote to our story “Interact with Model in VR” instead which would allow you to, for example, move objects around without the need to do this via the main software.

Thanks for your feedback!
