In order to calibrate you monitor you’ll have to by a “SpyderPro” or similar.

if you only have one monitor then go for the middle one. Express won’t be good enough.
I got two monitors, can’t you calibrate two monitors using the middle one?

Actually, I got 2 monitors, attached to two different computers, not dual monitor

You can use the spyder 2 (middle one), for dual monitors.
You just need to calibrate each monitor separately by changing which monitor is the primary one. Then use win color to load each colour profile during boot-up. Works a charm here

I have a Dell widescreen LCD. Is this he correct calibration device for me?
That should work fine but there are others out there: GretagMacbeth EyeOne Display2, Pantone Huey, etc. I’ve got the i1 Display 2 running on my Dell 24" and it works great. Prints from my printer and labs are pretty close to the screen(close enough that I wasn’t suprised) maybe a little darker, etc. but I didn’t have a profile for their printer either.
Just a caveat that I learned the hard way. I have a Spyder too and love it. It does a great job. But dual-monitor support has more to do with your video card than the Spyder. If your card/driver won’t support a *separate* profile being loaded on each monitor, NO calibration hardware will help you.
So, either use 2 video cards, or make sure your dual supports independent profiles.
