the normal version has 4 cpu slots and 16 DDR Sockets for up to 64GB of registered ram (even non-ecc)
if you need more power, you can add an extention board for another 4 cpus and another 16 ddr slots
i wonder what kind of power supply you’d need for 8 dual core opterons + 128GB of ram :shock:

yea, just read that the basic system (without disks, ram and cpus) costs about 9000€
