When I have Vantage open and need to move objects in the max scene, it holds the move and the object flies off to some unnecessary location. Is there a way to solve this?

What is the unit scale of your scene- meters, cm, inches, etc.? Does this happen in any scene or this particular one? If you can send us a sample scene where this behavior is reproducible would be great so we can investigate it. You can use the Chaos Help form with a link to the forum thread: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new You will have to include all asset files.
