Back in the day we I did a bunch of movies for this presentation we had for an industrial park. AllI could find was the UNCOMPRESSED 1GB files for each movie. I have people coming in today and we want to show them this presentation. I may be using these in a powerpoint, so I was wondering what was the BEST software to use for making these file types smaller and best quality…DIVX…XVID…etc…

VirtualDub - free and fast. You have to download xvid codec and that’s it… Use quantizer 1.0 - 2.0 for the best quality. Then load sequence and compress it, don’t forget to set correct fps.

reasonable compression and really high quality

Great…Of course PowerPoint does not support quicktime…>Grrrrrrrr
