I thought this just worked… but today its not.
I am sure in other projects since 2.9, when I wanted to show a movie file as its surface I just chose the movie file as its surface and it worked.
Am I imagining that?

An obvious reason why the movie files do not play anymore is that you might’ve enabled “Restmode”:
Which, as the tooltip says, “Pauses animations…”
If that doesn’t explain it, can you let me know if this issue persists with any video files, or it’s perhaps just one specific?

Not sure if it was fully that, as the texture was refusing to show up in Enscape, but I could see it in the ArchiCAD 3d window.
But all is working now (was driving me nuts lol)
