Thank you for taking the time to look into this. The original resolution of the images I uploaded is 2000 x 1333 px. Not sure why they don’t enlarge. I posted some images (screen grabs) in another thread (that I have linked to below) and that worked as expected. Should I try re-posting these images?
Regarding tone mapping: I have tried two methods. The method I used on this image is by using a free version of Fusion and a macro that provides a filmic tone mapping tool/node for Fusion. It has slider controls to adjust the shoulder and toe values, works very well. The one gotcha is that the free Fusion has a max image size limitation of 3240 x 2160. I’d like to render at 4000 px. I am a one person freelancer and cannot justify a full version of Fusion just to do this tone mapping.
I became aware of this Fusion tone mapping method and how to implement it from a link in another thread on the Chaos forum. It was to a video that discusses various tone mapping options. cost $25 to watch.

I have tried using the filmic tone mapper that is posted in that thread. I used it in the VFB but can’'t seem to get it working well in pshop (my discussion of that is in the thread). I may try getting up to speed with After Effects and see how that goes. the other issue with this method is the lack of controls for the tone mapper like are available in fusion.
