i´m new to the forum and i´m a beginner of MAX and VRay. just finished my first render and wanna share it with you so feel free to tell me your opinion. actually i would be very glad to receive any hints and detailed suggestions how to improve the image.

I think you have to desaturate some materials, kitchen doors, curtain..
Use a nice wood for the kitchen doors, or a deasturated solid color.
Maybe you should change the design of the kitchen a little bit, the door handels look a bit chunky..

got to agree with previous comments… perhaps you should try some nice wood textures and door details, but overall getting there 
I agree about desaturating materials. And I think you could work a little bit more on textures like the one on the jars by the window, the fruits and some texture on the floor.
And a little more salt on those eggs would be fine. ;o)
