Hi,
this is my first modeled tree with animation in different lighting scenarios.
Looks good…very rustly ![]()
Speedtree is really the only way to go for this.
There was a great plugin years ago called NatFX which did a great job with wind, especially for the time (1999ish) but it was very expensive and it anyway died…
GrowFX is the only solution inside of max. But I want to try something different. And I have to say SpeedTree is much easier to use and much faster to make what you want.
Very nice, I used Speedtree a few years ago and it was already a good software, probably now is much better. May I ask how long did it take to model this tree?
It is a good software. It has some limits, but still very fast. And version 9 looks great, but not sure when come out.
How long I did it - Its hard to tell, it was learning process while making it too. I think two days or so but now I can make it much much faster.
Thanks, I’ll try it again in the spare time!
Looks good to me
And the cool thing is you can use speedtree creations natively in Unity
I dont use Unity ![]()
