Hey m8s this is my first attempt of photorealism with vray…is a simple interior…there are some modelling issues i still have to refine..ull notice…but well i just wnat to focus on ilumination..and i also have some question that maybe can be answered in here…oh this is also my secnd post..ive being much of a peep in here..hehe..but ive learn awesome stuff…
ok my first question is abut color mapping…
i used color mapping to get the kinda darkish look..i like the way its look on materials…like the wood..but in the glass..it like brighten it too much…any way i can resolve that issue?..
my second question is about irradiance map and photon map saved files…
when i calculate irradiance for a view..and i change camara position..i have to calculate it all over again right?..and photon maps too?
im not too sure if im doing think the right way..but well if i dont try i cant know..so im trying everything!..
took me like 1h to calculate irradiance and photon… after that the render time is above the image…is this too much time..
i have a p4 1.6 with 1g sdram…
greetz!
