looks pretty good so far. head is kind of shaped like a light bulb though.
like this- ?

haha !
it’s a good idea to model our heads I think !
eyes look like glass or something, lips need some more work on texture
keep that up,
I guess your head is not like this  anyways
Hussam
I would suggest finishing the model before you texture it. Id say the proportions are off, but i dont know what your head looks like. But wheres the ears?
Lighting: Our skin doesnt carry THAT much light though it, Right now it looks like a wax model.
am i have to do a whole model(body, head ect.) before texturing it?
yes, you right. i got some SSS problems, but i`ll try to fix it.
how did you texture it?
The actual model looks kinda weird, lol, i dont know how you look like, if you want us to comment on the modelling its best that you post some reference pictures of yourself.
The shader, apart from the sss looks nice.

well, i used this photo to model. are you realy think that my head looks like- ?
well, its obvous that you lack a stronger and more defined jaw bone on the model. Widen the jaw end and youll eliminate the light bulb effect ![]()
Its also good to take as many reference pictures as possible. Checkout www.3d.sk and take a look at angles they use when making references. Its also pretty useful to keep a mirror nearby when modelling.
Aleksey, stop drinking VODKA man! ![]()
Very nice dude!!! make sure your jaws have the right proportion
Which modelling technique are you using?
Regards,
im pretty sure you got the topology around the mouth wrong too
post a wireframe
Eugene, as you know this is impossible!
i am using poly-modeling.
Taper your cranium quite a bit more from the front and look at the side view, the upper back portion of your model almost comes to a point. It’s starting to look nice though. Maybe get a couple more photos with a stocking or cap on to see the shape of your head.
Other than the jaw, the facial structure looks really good. I think that the shader, though cool looking SSS,is obscuring allot of the details in your modeling. The nose area is modeled very nicely but you can’t really see it with your shader and lighting. How are your reflections set up? If you’re only using HDRI to light change to area lights until you get it modeled and shaded then work with HDRI while tweaking your render parameters.
Keep it up,

can you post a screenshot of your skin material settings?
here is skin mat..

here is a bit updated:

eww j00 R t3h oogly! haha, its nice man, he looks a bit like a wax figure at a museum though. the flesh tones need a bit of work.
