Hi, my vray denoiser pass which is supposed to be my beauty pass in Ae looks complety different from the preview in 3ds max.

i useed to use it as a beauty pass but now I can’t because it looks different. Here are some images:

Hi,

The difference seems to be related to a gamma value.
If you apply a gamma of 2.2 or sRGB to the image below, it looks the same.

Please let us know what output settings you are using.
For example, are you saving the image as EXR or JPG, using separate render channels, or saving it as a V-Ray raw image file?

In most cases, the gamma correction is applied to all render elements as well.

If possible, sharing an example scene will help us troubleshoot.
