My workstation mainboard is dying and I don’t want to buy new old mainboard just to fix the problem. I was thinking to get dual xeon 5500 lineup, I know it’s around the corner but when it will actually hit the stores and especially the mobos for it? I guess I can wait one more month but 2 might be hard.
People are selling the chips, not sure if they will ship before the end of March though, Motherboards seem rare yet.
around 6000$ so wehn deducting graphic card, psu, case, etc etc. it shoudl be around 3000$ for mobo and 2 CPUS so not bad I would say. I think I will wait and pray for my pc not to die yet
