Hi gang,

i hope you can help me solve a problem with shave and a haircut rendering. Has anyone ever experienced flickering black NaN dots? Sometimes i also saw white ones,but in my current case they are black (Not a number) …

I know from long time ago that there were issues with that on mental ray as well…but i thought this should be long gone…it was in 2006!

Should i point Joe Alter to this thread too?

Yes.
Shave provides the shader and the curve generation, so Joe is probably the one guy that can help you (and he is very fast at solving problems, so this is another reason to let him know).
Which version of Maya and Shave are you using ?

Also, you can type the following word from Maya’s Script Editor, and send the result to Joe :
shaveDiag
