Hi Everyone,
I’d love to present a project that was a bit out of the ordinary for me. This time, the spotlight wasn’t on the building, but on the lighting design. The aim was to recreate the impression of a distant nebula. I’m excited to hear what you think!
Project: NEBULA LIGHTING PROJECT
Visualization: PICTURA
Tools used: Cinema 4D, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, Magnific, Topaz Video
Feel free to check out the complete project here:
You are right. The track was recorded with my Samsung Galaxy S23. Unfortunately, I’ve only had this device for three weeks, so I didn’t realize that it has heavy stabilization turned on by default. I’m not sure if it looks fake now because we’re so used to the shaky, handheld camera look, or if in a year or two we’ll see it as natural (when I bought new TV with higher fps i couldn’t watch it for 2-3 weeks). So, in the end, I left it as is.
Besides the EIS the motion import might have been smoothed out (it looks like so), it depends mostly on interpolation and import settings.
Usually adding a little noise on top of it fixes things.
