I sometimes come across problems that I cannot resolve when it comes to polymodelling. Does anyone know the best way to achieve sharp corners on the center panel. I need to be able to turbosmooth the entire model afterwards. Maybe I shouldn’t have filleted the edges first ?!
separate by smoothing groups! my favorite poly modelling tool.
Not to worry. I managed to resolve the issue by deleting the chamfers and connecting lines close to the side of the extrusion.

Im using the standard max poly tools for the details and im using Quad chamfer (found on scriptpot - commercial) to do all the chamfering/filleting.
