Hi everyone!
Blotches…in colour this time…
Have downloaded the material update from vray, new updated vray
version (n), everything has a thickness to it, vray light has sub.div 8,
no standard max raytracing
hmm, I’m totally going crazy - help, please - anyone…
You can view the render here:

You see that on the floor, on the furniture, behind the sofa and
the orange on the cash desk…Whats going on?
Cheers

Photons
Hello again…
Now I have turned off the Photons and it renders without
blotches. Is that a common problem - that Vray light and
photons clash? Are my Photon settings madly wrong?

I had a similar problema little while ago, the fix was checking your materials and making sure you have no raytrace materials.

number of bounces and retrace bounces must be the same,
maybe also you check the “check sample visibility” in the advanced imap rollout. I think this causing one of the spots where surface meets.
Cheers!!!
Will try that now!!!
Thanks
Tried what you said, doesnt work.
Cheers for aswering!!
Thanks

Maybe it could be a caustic problem? try to turn off G/R caustic for objects in vray object properties
