Nerm Film: Security Guard

Here’s a new character that was just finished for my upcoming film ‘The Chronicles of Nerm’ (being rendered in VRay!). He is the next to the last character I’ll be making for the film! This character is one of the guards patrolling the city and will also have a few speaking lines in one of the scenes. VRay’s been great in getting big, hi-res images done quickly!

You can see more stills, characters, ect on my website www.cwanimation.com , as well as the original Nerm film (‘Chronicles’ will be the sequel).

the depth of field looks great.
i eagerly anticipate seeing an animation of this

cool, the trailer on your site is awesome. great characters and animation.
awesome

I don’t have a trailer up yet, you probably saw the original Nerm film, which was done years ago when I was just starting out in 3D. The new film, which is the sequel, should be MUCH more detailed and much funnier!

Thanks for all the comments!

Looks great! I think its funny that the robot has a loin cloth…

Well you dont want to see his nuts and bolt now do you

Fantastic work!

LOL DaForce…

I have at least another year before the film is complete. I hope to get a trailer up at some point before its finished though. Thanks again for the comments!

coming along nicely chris.
Are all the characters rigged?

Got any animation tests?

working on a film by yourself is sure tough. i know aaaaallll about that hehe

SIMPLY AWESOME…

Yep, all the characters (over 10 now) are fully rigged.

I have a few shots done now, but does anyone know more about the ‘you can’t show any of your film or it won’t be elligible’ festival and award rules? I’m not sure how much that applies to (how much you can show before you cross that line)?

Thanks everyone
