netrender with max 2008 64 bit

Hello
we are about to upgrade our comps into win xp64 + max 2008 64 bit.
Up untill now our maneger was installed on a win 2k system becouse of the network limitation that the xp has(5 or 10 comps).
Can i install backburner (max 2008) 32 bit on a win 2k system,
and use it from a max 2008 64 bit workstation and render nodes?
if not what is your solution to the network limitation that the xp has.

32bit manager will work fine.
