New Chinese style demonstration area animation by enscape

There’s still no way to get rid of the moore grain in the video

 superb

Impressive work, nice moods!!! Gratulation!!!

And I understand your request for get rid of the moore effects. Also the flickering aliasing of horizontal and vertical patterns at entrances and windows are disturbing. I think, this could be a problem for presentations in a professional environment. If a client want to use a video like this for a presentation at an architecture fair, I suppose so, he can’t use it. Could be good if this could be set at first priority to fix. Maybe the generation of video frames can be done with higher quality than for VR use.

Screenshot of areas where the flickering was extreme visible:

Yes, very annoying BUG, I hope the development team can pay attention to it

impressed by the work

You are right @Micha and @tas_1985 , results with these flaws are not usable, can not be presented and also: will not get paid.

Although it is Enscape´s concept to focus on VR skills and speed, they need to solve the basic skills like :

  1. top still render quality

  2. top video render quality

  3. workflow and team reproducibility
Since these are the most important contents which are required from us…

I don’t know how you proceed, but for me that means to keep running at least one more alternative production line.

That’s the case, yet the video export may not be fully artifact and flicker free.

Our focus is not mainly on VR. The usage of Enscape in combination of VR is just a fraction of the total Enscape usage. The reduction of flicker in videos is a topic that we’re working on. The easiest (but most costly way) to reduce it is to render at a super high resolution and downsample afterwards (supersampling). You can also do that on your own if you wish but that takes of course quite some time to render. We work on a more elegant solution.

We’re really looking forward to that
