This a new design that i am working, but if see the wood floor doesnt cast shadows, what i should do to see the shadows that issue makes this render unreal and flat, its not my final render!

Well it could be a couple of things. The lightsource looks pretty concentrated on the left of the couch as tho it ends there and the rest of the scene is pretty dark. There wont be any shadows cast in dark areas of rooms!
If you are talking about the sunlight stopping at the glass table and not going thru to the floor then have you made sure that your glass material has “affect shadows” ticked in its properties?

thanks edonk for your help, Actually im talking about the furnitures they dont cast shadows in the floor! :slight_smile:

Thats what I thought, I dont know about your monitor but on mine the room is pretty dark so maybe no shadows will be cast here. Do a quick check by putting in a light above the table or maybe in that light stand fitting you have and see if you get any shadows being cast?

i would just be a little more careful with that lens correction filter, cause it seems to me like you used too much chromatic aberration… it kind of feels like i’m using glasses (and i don´t need them)

JEJEE ITs true omar about the CA actually its a render test its not the final if you see my friend maybe you can help me, look the render and the furnitures doesnt cast shadows on the wood floor what would be your advice my friend what i can do :slight_smile:

Dave did you test it with another light source above your table?

wow,nice, i love the realism, what version of vray are you using? my renders look nothing close to this

its the version 1.05, any help you need ill be more happy to help you, just practice my friend and you can get good results. :slight_smile:
