just curious when will be available new version with some new features and DLSS 3.5 support?
I have here one scene I want to test in Vantage (I rendered pictures with VRay) but probably better to test it in new version. If it will be released soon :-)
NVIDIA has already (correctly) pre-announced that Vantage will be supporting DLSS 3.5 -
Please note that NVIDIA has not yet released a driver supporting this yet.
Please stay tuned for details, as we will be releasing a Vantage version that takes advantage of this as soon as it passes muster.
The only concrete detail we can say for now is that you’re going to like it
Please keep in mind that DLSS will be an interactive-only denoiser, similar to our existing “Vantage” denoiser. It’s a realtime denoiser that works only with a single render pass and won’t work with the average of many passes, the way we do progressive final rendering. However it’s super stable and very fast when using upscaling. Stay tuned.
Yes, it should work. Only frame generation requires the 40-series, but we’re currently not looking into FG.
“GeForce RTX 40 Series users can combine Super Resolution and Frame Generation with Ray Reconstruction for breathtaking performance and image quality, while GeForce RTX 20 and 30 Series users can add Ray Reconstruction to their AI-powered arsenal alongside Super Resolution and DLAA.”
