You know, I started with three screens, went to two screens and settles on one larger 4K screen. I have read so many things on multiple monitors and you can argue both sides of it being more or less productive. For me, I am distracted too much with more than one monitor.

Very cool Bobby - congrats on the move! That’s a pretty cool mouse pad. Is that all it is - an edge-lit mouse pad? I’m jealous of your move. We debated selling, but we’d have to relocate to find anything affordable (we live north of Dallas, TX - growth up here is insane). I want at least an acre - tired of my neighbor’s house being 10 feet away. How big is your lot, if you don’t mind my asking?
Thanks! Yes, all it does is light up, but it is cool at night with the back lite monitor and rainbow keyboard. Moving is a pain, but if you are moving up it is worth it, I guess. We got an acre with no neighbors, which is nice.
Nice and I love the metal stud desk. Is that huge box on the bottom right your PC? It’s huge!

I’m working more on my laptop…I don’t like to be stuck in one place…sometimes I work from home, office, coffee shop, etc. ( I use my Ipad as the second monitor.)…I’m simplifying my life, I haven’t used my farm in a while, only Rubus farm.
my laptop has 32GB ram and so far I haven’t had any problems.
I also use the TV as a second monitor BTW.
32 Gb is getting you by, good for you. From start to finish on a laptop might cause me some anxiety. I purchased a 2017 MBP, but it’s pretty much an expensive chromebook IMO. What are you using?
Alienware 17x …I use XREFs, Proxies… 8GB video card, SSD and it’s working well.
Really small image, so I can’t see it, but great to be able to close it up. Do I like the Synology NAS, any recommendations? Right now I have an 8TB external drive backing up my project foilder, which is backed up to Carbonite. I also have a 2nd 8TB external drive backing up the first.
Sounds like your data situation works for you - I don’t have a second backup - everything is on a DS1515+ - I forget which array setup I’m using, but it allows for a least 1 or 2 drives to fail. I figure with my luck when it fails they’ll all fail together
I’ll see if I can get proper pictures of the space. Although it’s a mess.

Thank you! I have been working on it for 3+ years. Well, the space is new, but the stuff has been a process to get. I have been working up, buying things just to get buy and upgrading when I can. Like the Herman Miller chair. I started off with an old task chair, worked up through a few decent office chairs and then to this one. This is the cheapest one they had, so I might upgrade this one in a few years. Same for the desk and most everything I have.
She is a commercial artist & she makes paintings aswell.. those paintings in images i posted above are done by her. She is working on her website.. will post link as soon as she finishes it.
