Well, I am considering the Volta as a glimpse into the future. It for sure will be very expensive at first, but technology always gets more afordable with time.

Yep. You just have to be willing to buy not-the-latest tech. Doesn’t mean your build won’t be fast. I was surprised recently how a new build performed against new tech. Only got beat recently by a new tech build that cost more on half, then I spent on my entire rig.

The Volta architecture seems very promising for raytracing on paper, but it is hard to say until we test it.
