I am currently evaluating Enscape and was playing with the new Revit 2019 materials and I noticed that Enscape renders them completely differently from Revit.
Here is one example:
Here is how Revit renders it:
And here is how Enscape renders it:
They are quite different. The weight is not respected at all. Even if I use a number for the weight they are completely different. Here:
Are there any plans to truly support the new materials? I have created hundreds of custom new materials and they are useless unless properly supported by Enscape.
Hi ArchiWizard, thank you very much for notifying us on this - I’ve been able to reproduce the issue concerning the Weight parameter.
I have forwarded it to our developers to be treated as bug.
Are there any more parameters or settings you noticed any issues with?
@Kaj, tThank you for your answer.
Well the new 2019 metals also look a bit differently.
Roughness, anisotropy, bump, diffuse colors are different.
Enscape does not support anisotropy and layered materials yet. As soon as we add that, the according properties will be supported too.
