Ive got as far as the tool bar loaded & loding my sktechup model in enscape but thats it. ?(

hi jtubb

thanks for your reply

i have already looked at this as a 1st point of call prior to asking the forum but there doesnt seem to be any videos for beginers. The one thats there ‘how to get started with sketchup’ seems to be a 40 second intro & then no tutorial??

Hey @Tracyheywood

Sorry for the confusion, our website is currently a little broken in that regard. We’re working on it.

Here’s the link to the full Enscape 3.2 SketchUp onboarding tutorial playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxhq5lDhkGQQ43fliPWJrFC7EWivC3YX-

Let me know if you have any feedback

Thanks for your help Kaj!! This seems to be working

Great video & very clear Kaj! thanks so much! Ive gone over it a few times now to sink in.

Im going to try & start with lighting now via the knowledgebase unless there are any good video tutorials on that too?!

@Tracyheywood , the knowledgebase article is a great way to start with the basics, but if you like to get into more advanced techniques perhaps even from the get-go, check out some of the fantastic tutorials provided by user @Vlad_Moldovan :

“Enscape detail lighting | Modulus Render”

“Enscape interior lighting | Modulus Render”

His fantastic renderings really speak for themselves.

Alongside, check out this Blog article here too:

Overall, both the Blog and different resources from our Tips&Tricks and Tutorials section here in the Forum can be referred to depending on what you like to achieve exactly in your projects. The resources linked specifically above are mostly for creating interior lighting in this case.

Thanks for you help on this Demain. Im loving this help! Thanks so much

Here are a couple of webinars I ran for some large architecture firms, they should give you an overview of the basics too (these 2 are fairly similar)
