Hello dear all!
I’m self taught SU+Vray user. I love all the changes with the newest Vray version. I’m not a proffesional visualizer, but these tools are great to use as an interior designer.
I’m trying to create a material which is like crushed velvet, however I cannot achieve a desired effect. Can anyone help, or point me to some tutorial? I’ve been googling and trying a lot for the last couple days but with no luck so far.
Sorry about silly question - how do I blend them?
It’s not exactly what I need, but I’d like to play around with it to try and make it closer to crushed velvet.
Thank you so much for your help!
You could try using the new decal feature of Vray and add additional imperfections to the material to make it more realistic.
İ tried creating velvet material once, by looking 3dsmax tutorials.. I hope it helps.. There is a lot of subtextures..
I made a short video explaining what I did.
Thanks for that video. It helped me understand how better to use the blend material
