We wanted to share with you guys our updated project portfolio and our new and website. It was quite fun to produce and hope to receive your comments. We are on beta so any crits are more than welcome.
We made some animated scenes with vray so check it out, specially the “our process” sections in 3d animation and architectural visualization.
Usability however is a bit of a pain. I hate waiting for loading flash pages.
Especially for people who just want to pop in and have a look at your images.
The web site is coming out really nice, and there are some nice animations inside! Just reminds me a little bit too much the sony style web site.
Anyway very good job.
I think the website is absolutely amazing! I really wish I could generate the flash style of site you have here. Do you have any sites which you could recommend to me in order to learn how to generate this style of website?
Thanks guys. Daforce, I agree with the waiting. we actuallt built an html version of the portfolios for low bandith or for ppl who just need to see the work. I’ll link those in the home page
Mosetti, yup I love sonystyle too. For zf we had a huge dilemma. We have 4 areas of business very dissimilar. Architecture, tv spots, tv packaging and interactive. ad agencies don’t feel conformable with the professionalism of studios who do architecture, on the other hand architects and developers fear studios that do tv, and the other two thins are just apples and pears. We thought that with an eye catching site that requires few words everyone would be a bit more comfortable, and the idea of a loft came as a nice solution. the site actually takes place in a architectural space but in a pro manner solving the issue with agencies. There are other examples of this kind of site: actioncity.la, gettheglass.com, just to name a few.
Bitterswitch. Thanks! There are no specific sites but I could give you the info you require
I have a question for you guys… music or no music???
Each space inspires a different thing and somehow just a certain track comes to mind. I personally don’t like music on websites, but i guess it really might have something to do with the space in this case.
The new site looks great, I really like the integration of the 3D moves into the interface
and the random people and creatures walking across is pretty neat too.
I almost went to squish the bug the first time it appeared. :o
The one thing that I find a little confusing is the turtle and rabbit icons on the
performance settings, it’s not clear to me that it means select the rabbit for
the fast site or because my connection is fast, of course if one stops to read
the associated text, it is clear.
