Question for you flash guys. I built a flash site awhile back, but found that it could not be optimized for search engines. How are you guys getting good rankings with flash?
Greate Site m8! i wonder if you had some sort of inspiration source or examples on how you thought up this nice design! i desperatly need to create a site to but i’m having a hard time to come up with a good layout/design
really nice eric. i dont recall seeing any of those animations… great stuff.
Bobby: i’ve seen people copy their flash text and paste underneath the flash elements. if you paste it in html in very small text and as the same color as the background, then it’s difficult to detect. The goal here is for the search bots to properly index your site but just because it gets indexed doesn’t mean your page rank will improve. The way to improve page rank is to have people link to your site. Thousands of sites link to my vray site, so it has a very high page rank. Hardly anyone links to my companies site so it has a low rank. You really cant expect alot of sites to link to your business’ site. The best way imo is to buy the sponsored links on google and yahoo. They are cheap and they do work…at least for us.

That small text with the same color as the background is supposed to hurt you with bots… or at least that was my understanding. When you say buy adds on Google or Yahoo are you talking pay per click?
Animation part is really impressive ! You manage to keep the quality at high level along all your projects, congrats !

I know that Google can search for and find text in flash. I’ve had several recent search result hits point to a flash site.

I think this is a really nice piece of work. Working beyond the scope of a typical marketing piece requires invention, and communication of a different type. There is clarity in this and I like touches such as the ouitlines in the texture maps to match the varytoon shader. Incidentally I wouldnt worry about the sky; in many ways it works well to maintain focus on the building.
