Mathew,
This looks very promising. You might experiment a little with sun position. You sun is right above your camera which, sometimes, is not very good. The result is that you can hardly see any shadows of the front posts and railing. I’d also move sun to the right so it casts more light on to the front of building, which is more interesting and more important part of building. Moving back palm up would brake the roof line a little. I Like your plants in front. Reducing the blur on your bump map for cladding should give you more definition to boards.
Overall, it’s a very good image. Keep working

Nice simple image showing off the house ![]()
what did you do for the interiors? looks good ![]()
The scene has one sun and the GI, also the interior has a standard V-ray panel light at every window. set between 5 and 10 for the multiplyer.
I agree with the sun position! I have been messing with it trying to get the perfect effect! I have no blur on the bump map? and I f I do I don’t know where it is coming from?

What I meant is to go to Materil Editor\bump map\blur. Reduce the value from 1 to something like 0.6-08 (for Pyramidal filtering). Don’t do it too much or you’ll have problems with AA and a bit longer render times.

Cool, but i was wondering about what you did for the actual interiors? is it geometry or is like cards with mapped drapes and such?
nice.. can we see it with a background???
it is a modeled drape in each of the windows! along with the basic walls, so it isn’t a hallow box!
Updated Image
here is the updated final image! I was kind of rushed! But I would appricate any C&C’s
