Next trial doesn't work because of license issues

Hey,
I installed Next trial for 2018, but I cant get it to work because it doesn’t finde a license. Error code is -200, the ChaosGroup license server could not be reached.

So I need online license server for Next trial? Is that true?
Thats really bad, we have hardware dongles here. Why do I even need a license for trial? I just want to try Next in order to check if we want to upgrade or not…

You can have a dongle and online obtainable license on 1 machine, so it’s not that bad unless you don’t have internet access to the machines. In that case, you can message us at sales@chaosgroup.com.

And yes - you need a license to try it. I assume you can imagine how unflexible and unnecessary extra work will go into making separate builds that expire in 1 month, only to disable the people that haven’t worked with the licensing to try it and evaluate fully.
