NONAME 7

Nice one Niki, a tribute to Steve Irwin?

I agree about the light through the lampshades and maybe a little more bump on the gator skin but all in all a very nice image.

well done!

DAMMMMN!!! That’s so… RRREAL… soo AWESOME…!!!

Nikki, can u show us what it looks like before photoshop?

Thanks to all of you !
@ Natty, I perfectly agree about your comments. Thanks man.
Of course it can get much better, but it should have some bug to prove
it is still a CG,

Here is the straight render 100% out of V-Ray. No touches at all.

Best regards,
nikki Candelero

Great image!!!

But I thinkn you should reduce the “Maxwell-Filter” Effect in post.
A little less grain would be perfect.

alla faccia!!!

GREAT

CONGRATULATIONS NIKKI

very nice render. Though I’m unable to figure out what you have going with the lamp shades. The map on them specifically. Is it a self illum map or just a color type of map?

photo? well done!

Probably the new 2 sided vray-mat, works great for stuff like that.

Fantastic! amazing quality…

Nikki, I hope you have a matching thong to go with that blanket =]

Exactly.

The problem with the NON-lit back wall is that the VRayLights normals are up and down - thus the wall reamains a bit unnaturally lit just behind the lamp. If i had removed the back face of that cloth shape, probably it would’ve been ok.

P.S.

What does this mean - i assume it is in italian ?

That would need some serious thinking how to model it

Best regards,
nikki Candelero

textures are spot on

-d

thanks for showing the ‘before photoshop’ look!
The vray render itself is amazing btw, but with ps it gets more dramatic and more focused.
and i like the grain noise

ps. seems like nikki takes the ‘black borders’ thing really seriously… he even render 'em straight from VRay .. LOL

Great work!!!

lol. The Black border was the only thing done in PS over the clean render-out.

Best regards,
nikki Candelero

Is not offensive therms
It expresses something like unbelievable, very surprised feel and so on

an italian way to express surprise, wonder and so on

Ditto.
Seems a variation on 3 points lighting, nicely done.

Lele

wow, thats definately up there in the Hall of Fame,

Great job,
