Not a problem but a question

this is a little somthing that Iv not been able to fix. whenever I use Interpolation for refract (see image on right) I get these dark areas.

Its not a problem because I can render it without interpolation, but Id still like to know why this happens and how to fix it…I may have played with the settings so much that I might have caused it myself..Im hardly an expert when it comes to fine tuning vray :roll:

the refract subdivs for both are 25.

it looks great without interpoloations. Usually interpolations are not a good way to go for a number of reasons. Interpolations produce inacurate results, such as you see on the right image. “interpolate” which means that it assumes that for 1 given sample it will approximate nth number of similar samples, which will give you approximate result.
But, also, it might help to increase internal refractions limit.
