I imported an IFC from an external project partner.
This partner also uses Enscape and placed a lot of Enscape assets in his file.
But why do these Enscape assets not get recognized as such by Enscape in my imported file and interpreted as such correctly?
Exporting to IFC file breaks up the Enscape asset and if not done well also the parametric properties of objects. Same goes to any other 3d format. Nevertheless, If you are using a native file from your authoring BIM tool like Revit, Archicad and others, then you can get the Enscape asset and it will read just fine… Hopefully your partner uses the same BIM tool as you and its all good!
