nVidia denoising error

Good evening my friends,

i am using Corona version: 3 (DailyBuild Sep 20 2018)
Full-speed, Non-debug, MaxSDK 2018
Build timestamp: Sep 20 2018 07:21:48

and today i encountered this error while rendering:
Error encountered during denoising.
Unknown error (Details: Function “_rtCommandListExecute” caught exception: Failed to launch DLDenoiser post-processing stage. DLDenoiser run method failed with error -4711.)

I am working on this scene from over a week on this build, no errors prior.
I suspect this error happens when using Free Camera instead Corona Camera.
Is this known bug/limitation?

Also:
is there a way to create Corona Cam from perspective view? Some demanding perspective match going on here.

There’s a button on the Corona Toolbar to create a Corona Cam from the active Perspective view.

The NVIDIA error is most likely related to memory (and running out of it). Resolution size and GPU memory will likely determine that - what resolution are you rendering to, and how much memory does your GPU have?

First of all, please try with a newer daily build: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000570015
Secondly, we should have a new version of the Optix denoiser soon, with better error reporting and lower RAM usage.

Thank you for your answers.

So i have 1060 with 6gb of memory.
I used denoiser with scenes exceeding 40GiGs of RAM with no errors

The error occurs only when using max’s Free Camera (Psychical and Corona are ok)

No problems with the free camera here. Can you share a problematic scene with us? Chaos
