Nvlink not supported?

Am I right with my impression that nvlink is not supported?
Lavina was choosing my 1080 ti over the second 2080 ti unless I would disable nvlink, which I did, and now Lavina is using both 2080tis.

Have you disabled the SLI option? When SLI is enabled Lavina sees the two cards as one device and wouldn’t use them optimally (SLI is basically made for alternate frame rendering in games).

Yes, when disabling Lavina uses both cards.

It is just inconvient to disable SLI when using lavina and enabling it for rendering with vray…

Thanks for reporting the issue.
We will work to support NVLINK conditions better in the future.

With today’s update (0.5.0), you should be able to use the linked cards without disabling SLI. This may also provide higher framerates in some cases, compared to the same two cards with the link disabled, because the maximum framerate for a given resolution (e.g. with empty scene) is limited by the link speed between the GPUs.

Note that while we’re taking advantage of the link speed, this does not automatically mean we have double the memory. Sharing resources between the two devices is something we will try to do in the future.

Watching this very closely!

This will be awesome because sometimes 11Gb not enough in one 2080Ti =)
