Hi,

well if you have a solid colour but you dont want it affected by shading but at same time affected by shadow, then you contradicting yourself. No shading and you will just get a flat colour (like VRAYlightmtl).
Effected by shadow and the thing will be flat colour, but where the shadow hits it, it will be darker.
So please explain in a different way what you are after and we can take it from there.
Yeah, but that is what I need. Shadow is not shading in right way. When you put light in one corner, it lights the object on that corner, but other corner will be darker how light go through space, this is what I mean shading. Its not affected by any shadow, but color of that object is not same. I need to be the same, but will be affected by shadow and GI, hope you know what I mean.
I try VRayLightMtl, but than shadow is not visible and color is not what I pick exactly because object is lighting. I think maybe some matte function will be good for this but dont know.
You can try playing with the roughness parameter of the VRayMtl material; higher values tend to even out the shading regardless of the angle of the falling light.
Best regards,
Vlado
Yeah, good tip, i try this, thanks.
