need to choose between dual xeons and dual opterons … please please advice …have a week to mull over but need all your valuable advice

until max and vray go 64bit, i think you should go with the xeons.

look for benchmarks, I dont think many of us have opteron around.
There are a lot of benchmarks out including rendering performance.
Check it.
